Current French Bulldog Village
Charity Events, April 2012
In April 2012, the
French Bulldog Village celebrates
the life and benefactor of the FBV who
unknowingly created a circle of
love, Ms. Karen Krings. Like
many people every year, Karen’s
life was cut short and she
succumbed to cancer at the age
of 51 on April 19, 2006. She
requested no memorial services
to be held in her name, no
fanfare, but, left a financial
gift to honor her love of
animals, especially her two
beloved dogs she left behind,
Carleton, a Bulldog and Lizette,
a French Bulldog and the French
Bulldog Village was formed 5
years ago in 2007. You can read
more about Karen at
Remembering
Karen.
As
we celebrate our 5
year anniversary and the life of
Karen Krings this month, we will
feature a current or former
foster Frenchie every week that
may not be here today without Karen,
without our volunteers, without you,
our supporters, a circle which began
with one woman’s generous gift.
Please help support the needy little foster Frenchies
of the French Bulldog Village
"Circle of Friends" by clicking
on the donation button below and making a gift
donation in any amount to keep the
circle going. Your name will
be added to our circle of friends
page for the remainder of the year.
Thank you, friends.

The French Bulldog Village was
formed 5 years ago in 2007.
During the first year, the FBV
organization re-homed 49 French
Bulldog and French Bulldog
mixes. Below is Lulu's
story, how she came to be in
rescue in 2007 and where and how
she is doing now, in 2012,
almost 5 years later. Just click
on her banner to read her story. |
A current village resident, FBV
foster dog, Penny's story.
Just click on her banner below to
read her story.
Here at the French Bulldog Village, we
believe that every needy Frenchie like Penny that comes knocking on
our door counts. In this case, it came with a big price tag,
but, we couldn't turn her away.
Penny hasn't had a lot of luck
in her short life. At 3
years old, she has already lived
in three different homes and now
finds herself in rescue.
And for Penny, rescue was
literally her last and only hope
of survival. |
